    As part of the next phase of growth in EMEA, eVestment is looking to recruit our first Regional Client Relationship Manager based outside of London. In this capacity, you will be responsible for two key business objectives:

    • Initially growing eVestment’s presence in the Nordics to scale, along with a secondary focus on Germany and Austria
    • Retaining the book of business and overseeing all client relations to help them realise optimal value from their eVestment solutions

    You will be based in Nasdaq’s office in Copenhagen or Helsinki and report to the Head of Client Success in EMEA based in London. Your role will involve building the book of business through sourcing new clients, ensuring data gathering, introducing leads to the Sales teams as appropriate and setting up local events to boost eVestment’s brand awareness. You will also manage the portfolio of client accounts, serving as their primary eVestment point of contact. You will assess each client’s needs, monitor the health of the business relationship, handle elevated client issues, manage and discover key client relationships, and participate in contract and renewal discussions with a focus on retaining and growing your book of business.



    • You will take ownership of growth targets for the Sales and Data teams and will work with the Head of EMEA Strategy, Marketing and other functions to ensure your region is set up for success
    • Manage and grow client relationships to ensure the client recognises that they are getting optimal value from eVestment and are aware of all relevant product capabilities and resources available
    • Coordinate with internal specialists to meet defined client needs and ensure the client makes progress toward their desired outcome
    • Prioritise portfolio of accounts using available usage metrics, client knowledge, client expressed needs not met and interaction history
    • Collaborate with Sales partners to determine growth and retention strategies for each account
    • Negotiate and resolve contract and renewal questions, including price and term negotiations
    • Document client issues, feedback and stories in Salesforce and communicate them to the product group. Act as your clients’ advocate
    • Understand our platform capabilities and how your clients use them. Continually further your knowledge through internal product training



    • Fluency in one or more Nordic languages is essential. Fluency in English in a business environment is also required, along with German which would be advantageous
    • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the industry (at a local asset manager, consultant or pension fund) or in a Business Development role
    • Extremely comfortable with client interaction and exhibit strong customer focus with the highest levels of professionalism and emotional intelligence
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, with the intellectual curiosity to seek out root causes and the ability to pick-up on cues and “read between the lines” to understand client sentiment, even when it’s not overtly expressed
    • Adept at conducting needs assessments and discovery
    • Self-starter mentality with keen analytical and strategic thinking ability
    • Demonstrated track record growing a book of business and high level of comfort determining account-specific strategies and tactics to drive retention and revenue
    • Skilled at forging new relationships and building extensive networks inside and among client firms, especially with senior level stakeholders
    • Ability to coordinate resources internally at eVestment and work cross-functionally to find optimal solutions for clients
    • Experienced in handling challenging client issues and nuanced price discussions
    • Any knowledge of eVestment’s platform and/or exposure to the institutional asset management industry would be advantageous
