  • ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Director of Client Data Services and Operations for Omni Solutions leads the world-class service of our team as they ensure the accuracy and completeness of client data across multiple databases.

     

    As the Director of Client Data Services and Operations for Omni Solutions, you will directly manage Omni service team leaders, coaching and developing the leadership and management skills of these individuals and devising and delivering the growth strategy for each team to execute the Omni growth strategy.  You are comfortable balancing priorities and have excellent decision-making skills to ensure the business needs for Omni clients are aligned with eVestment’s business goals and strategies. You will monitor procedures to ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction and oversee resolution of client issues. In this role, you will collaborate across the firm with teams such as Sales, Client Success and Product Technology through excellent understanding of the wider company goals and priorities.

    ABOUT YOU

    The next Director of Client Data Services and Operations will have a minimum of 10-years of related experience leading global teams and remote workers and driving team engagement and results. You will have knowledge of financial services/institutional investing within a consulting or financial advisory firm or be a learner who is willing to dig in and be hands-on with the team to learn a complex business.  As importantly, we are looking for proof of your passion for operations excellence, including a lean, process engineering background in services.

     

    Essential skills for success in this role:

    • Ability to engage with clients, gather feedback, and act as a point of escalation internally and externally
    • Ability to partner across the firm with key stakeholders (product, sales, Client Success Managers, legal, operations, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills for all levels of an organization; able to distill complex data into simple presentations for consumption by executive/company-wide audiences
    • Evidence of strategic thinking
    • Proven track record of managing change
    • Ability to think outside of the box and challenge the status quo

    Essential experience for success in this role:

    • Experience leading data processing/transformation business with an understanding of tools and best practices needed for success
    • Experience negotiating and building contract language for services that set the team and clients up for success
    • Experience managing offshore vendors including contract negotiation, SLAs, training and management of results
