The Corporate Sales Specialist role will be responsible for driving sales growth by aggressively promoting and selling eVestment  solutions to asset managers. You will uncover, qualify and close new opportunities with new logos and existing clients. You are results-driven, continually refining your sales process and skills, and love start-up culture. This position will work with a broad group of team members across the organization in order to achieve goals and objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and follow up on leads whether sourced from marketing, networking or cold calls. 
  • Regularly interact with prospects to understand/uncover their business problems, clearly communicate our value proposition, and guide them through service evaluation milestones, including providing detailed online product demonstrations.
  • Produce follow up materials and proposals for interested prospects.
  • Assist with management of contract execution for new clients and handoff to onboarding team.
  • Build sustainable pipeline momentum that delivers consistent and growth and  new business.
  • Ruthlessly qualify opportunities in order to forecast sales accurately.
  • Demonstrate ability to articulate buying rationale and process for each  opportunity.
  • Provide transparency into sales activities and pipeline management  through detailed and timely use of Salesforce.com.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated closer with an outstanding work ethic.
  • Self-starter and capable multi-tasker – taking the initiative to identify new opportunities while executing a sound sales process for opportunities in progress.
  • Highly comfortable with client interaction and exhibit strong customer service skills with the highest levels of professionalism
  • Outstanding communicator – excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate vision and business value to stakeholders including senior management, and create compelling need for eVestment solutions.
  • Superior presentation skills; excellent speaking voice, comfortable leading client demonstrations; familiar with electronic presentation technologies.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence outcomes and present to all levels of an organization.
  • Outstanding qualifier capable of demonstrating critical thinking and skepticism to discern why a prospect will be worth pursuing and uncovering business needs that will lead to revenue.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • An acute sense of diplomacy and judgment.
  • Strong collaborator. You should make the world better for your co-workers. 

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in an institutional investment technology and/or SaaS sales setting
  • Working knowledge of financial and investing concepts along with a willingness to devour information that would help you succeed.
  • Experience in the investment management or banking industry with a consulting / financial advisory firm, investment manager or banking institution a strong plus
