ABOUT THE ROLE

What it is: As the EMEA Market Strategy Leader, you’ll get to work with external customers and internal stakeholders to define, evaluate, and implement product and business strategies for the EMEA region. Working closely with Clients, Technology, Sales, Service and senior management you’ll rarely find yourself hunched over your computer in this highly engaging and interactive role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop short and long term strategies to grow the EMEA market segment while directly contributing to P&L growth and retention of the supporting product lines.
  • Use key market, customer and competitive insights as well as financial and product data to identify opportunities to drive incremental sales and revenue
  • Evaluate additional opportunities like channel strategies, integration partnerships or M&A pipeline to accelerate market share growth.
  • Conduct market sizing, financial modeling and revenue forecasting analyses to support business case development, partnering closely with segment leadership, Product Management, and Finance
  • Collaborate closely with other segment strategy, product and business leaders to develop compelling, well-structured storylines, recommendations, and presentations that drive others to action
  • Drive global business requirements definition and product planning from ideation to launch, with ultimate responsibility for developing and executing go to market plans at the local level.

  • You’re ready to be the expert of everything about your region, from business plans, the product vision, the technology, the user experience, sales, service and retention efforts, key market positioning, pricing and more!
  • You’re skilled at client development & market validation, ensuring we build and enhance solutions that quickly find product/market fit,
  • You have a demonstrated ability to take complex information and summarize for a broad audience of executives, professionals, and field representatives
  • You have a proven track record of prioritizing and delivering results within an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment,
  • You’re able to consistently exercise strategic influence, build consensus, and buy-in and are able to effectively manage different types of stakeholders needs,
  • Demonstrated business acumen: understands the key financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and revenue goals of an organization
  • You’re able to perform both external, and internal, market analysis to understanding emerging trends, technologies, and practices,
  • You’re analytics driven, using qualitative and quantitative data to help drive your product and business decisions,
  • You obsess over accurate & concise communication

ABOUT YOU

What we need: The ideal candidate will have 7+ years business strategy experience preferred (e.g. corporate strategy, product management, consulting, strategic marketing). 2+ years of directly managing business, customer, or product strategy projects. 3-5 years of working with or for an Asset Manager or Asset Owner in the Institutional Investment Space. Demonstrated responsibility for setting strategic direction of a SaaS-based solution a huge plus as is an MBA. The best candidates will have studied methodologies like Pragmatic Marketing or Lean Startup.
