What it is: As a Product Marketer for eVestment you will serve as the product evangelist for the organization. Driving into new segments, new regions and even supporting existing ones, you will create and lead the development of key messages and positioning about our solutions and services that will enable Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to successfully sell the product. Working closely with Product Strategy, Sales and Service you’ll rarely find yourself hunched over your computer in this highly engaging and interactive role.



  • Champion the development and roll out of a repeatable process for when and how product changes and launches are communicated to the market and internal teams alike.
  • Collaborate with product strategy to develop the overall go to market strategy for each segment and product line, developing a unique marketing strategy for each segment and solution.
  • Own positioning, messaging and the overall launch strategy for new products brought to market.
  • Enable sales to sell our solutions and services. Create sales enablement tools including launch tool kits, pitch books and positioning statements by user persona, to drive demand, adoption and the overall success of the product.
  • Develop and own external-facing product content (one-pagers, user stories, positioning statements) to support sales, relationship management teams and lead acquisition marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with sales managers and strategy leaders to influence how the products are positioned during the sales process and identify opportunities to introduce sales enablement tools.
  • Lead the collection, analysis and distribution of competitive intelligence to strategy and sales, using it to differentiate and/or defend our market position.
  • Lead the collection and analysis of win/loss data to fuel downstream messaging and positioning for both new and existing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have experience developing the voice of products and services using a variety of communication styles and channels for the investment industry.
  • You have a proven track record of driving ROI for both new product launches and enhancements across complex multi-product portfolios.
  • You’re able to consistently exercise strategic influence, build consensus, and buy-in and are able to effectively manage different types of stakeholders needs,
  • You’re able to perform both external, and internal, market analysis to understanding emerging trends, technologies, and practices
  • You’re creative yet analytical driven, using qualitative and quantitative data to help drive your messaging and go to market strategies
  • You obsess over accurate & concise communication


What we need: We are looking for proof of your passion for product marketing, product management AND go to market strategy. 5 years of product marketing experience is required with a heavy focus on developing and executing launch strategies for a multi-product portfolio company from beginning to end. Since this role is all about understanding the customer, experience working for an Asset Manager, Consultant or Investor or previous experience marketing to clients within the space is a must have. Demonstrated responsibility for setting strategic marketing direction of a SaaS-based solution a huge plus. In addition to a product marketing and/or software product management background we’d also like to see experience in areas like client interviews and persona building.  The best candidates will have studied methodologies like Pragmatic Marketing or Lean Startup.
