Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role will be a trusted advisor and partner to Business Leaders and other stakeholders. The position leads and facilitates the development of culture and key capabilities for the organization and is responsible for securing and maintaining a productive, diverse and engaged workforce, comprised of the best talent available. Through the design, development and implementation of Human Resources strategies, the Manager of Human Resources leads initiatives, and associated design and execution, in order to achieve business results and sustainable growth. In partnership with the appropriate functional HR areas, the Manager of Human Resources drives and deploys integrated local talent management, performance management, and organizational transformation and workplace strategies.


The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, solid project management skills, sound judgment, a strong background in process improvement, and the ability and desire to work in a complex environment. He or she must have demonstrated experience in building relationships, establishing credibility and providing value to the organization.  He or she will also have superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to work across all levels of the organization. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ten or more years of progressive HR experience required.


  • Leads the North America Human Resource Business Partner team; acts as a player/coach to facilitate learning opportunities and actively develop the existing team. 
  • Develops and implements HR plans, policies, programs, and tools in partnership with business leaders to build and enhance organizational capability and add value to the business.
  • Advises leaders on the implications of short and long-term decisions, strategies, and large-scale change efforts that will yield sustainable business results.
  • Initiates and sustains continuous dialogue with functional leaders on both internal and external change issues and opportunities. Facilitates development of change plans and implementation of business transformational initiatives to achieve desired business outcome.
  • Partners with the Learning & Organizational Development team to lead the implementation of Continuous Performance Development to all managers and employees to ensure that feedback and evaluations are completed on-time.  Provides training to managers on how to provide feedback; lead team calibrations on performance ratings; ensure consistent quality across all feedback. Monitors and leverages performance results and recommends improvement opportunities.
  • Plans and promotes the understanding, application, and improvement of strategies to address talent gaps and needs. Works with leadership and other stakeholders to design and leverage integrated people strategies, enabling the attraction, development, and retention of top talent.
  • Identifies and communicates individual coaching needs; partners with the Learning & Development team to develop and facilitate training; participates in the evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs.
  • Analyzes how change can be supported and sustained through redesigned HR strategies, programs, practices, policies, and processes.
  • Mentors other members of the team, to ensure consistency and sharing of best practices.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with eVestment policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and required.



  • Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management and local employment laws.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law and regulations.
  • Must deal effectively with ambiguity, displaying business acumen to recognize trends and identify systemic approaches to solving problems in a dynamic organization.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and apply policies and procedures to resolve HR administrative issues.
  • Ability to proactively resolve issues, exercise good judgment, ownership, prioritization and display strategic and critical thinking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. Experience with HR Information Systems is a plus. Technical acumen is required.


  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in a software or technology company.
  • Career trajectory displays roles with increasing responsibility and application of managerial, leadership and strategic capability. 


  • Manages team of Human Resources Business Partners through both direct and dotted line responsibility.
