ABOUT THE ROLE

Ever thought you might be good at sales...one day? Make that day a reality by joining our growing sales team as a Sales Associate. This UK based  role is an exciting opportunity to support the business development team with territory plans, account plans, lead generation and organizing marketing campaigns with our marketing team. You will work closely with the established EMEA sales team so when they win, you win!  

 

A key part of this role is being able to communicate eVestment’s value proposition to target clients by displaying excellent business acumen, a professional presentation, and memorable interactions with each person they contact.   The role is challenging and fast paced and is often the “front-line” of interaction a prospective client will have with eVestment – having a dynamic, gregarious communication style is a must for this team!

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Some experience with working within a sales team is preferred, but not essential.  We really seek a proactive enthusiastic person who is determined.  The ideal candidate would be someone looking gain experience and eventually qualify to become one of our highly skilled Business Development Managers, with your own territory one day.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com (preferred)
  • Understanding asset management and or funds is a plus but not required
  • Highly professional work ethic and outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Creative mindset and ability to quickly pick up concepts and product information
  • Commission oriented and metrics driven personality (solid base salary provided with fantastic, performance-based upside)
  • Fluent English is essential and other languages are a valued asset

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospect, Educate, Develop, and Qualify Accounts for Business Development Managers across EMEA
  • Help each team member with territory planning and help open up new and existing accounts to eVestment services
  • Account administrative functions
  • Communicate daily with prospects and clients
  • Be collaborative and ready to tackle new challenges each day
  • Learning our highly successful sales process and developing your own sales skills to eventually take on your own territory.
