Ever thought you might be good at day? Make that day a reality by joining our growing sales team as a Business Development Rep. This role is designed to give newer entrants to eVestment who may not have a background in sales a chance to shine. Will you have to make some cold calls? Sure, but that's part of working in sales. In this role, you work closely with established sales reps…when they win, you win!  

A key part of this role is being able to communicate eVestment’s value proposition to target clients by displaying excellent business acumen, a professional presentation, and memorable interactions with each person they contact.   The role is challenging and fast paced and is often the “front-line” of interaction a prospective client will have with eVestment – having a dynamic, gregarious communication style is a must for this team!


  • 1-2 years in an outbound selling, lead generation, or customer contact environment strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiarity with (preferred)
  • Understanding of finance or investment fields a plus but not required
  • Intense work ethic and outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Creative mindset and ability to quickly pick up concepts and product information
  • Commission oriented and metrics driven personality (solid base salary provided with fantastic, performance-based upside)


  • Communicate daily with prospects and clients
  • Prospect, Educate, Develop, and Qualify Accounts for Corporate Sales Representatives
  • Due diligence and in-depth research on potential accounts
  • Be collaborative and ready to tackle new challenges each day
