This role will focus on actively and aggressively promoting, selling and reinforcing the value of eVestment products to prospects and existing clients within the broader community of the Asia Pacific region, working in conjunction with sales and service resources based in the region and other International locations. 


The Solutions Specialist is an expert in the broader eVestment product lineup, in this role you will utilize your superior technical knowledge for respective solutions and be responsible for educating and updating the other eVestment local client facing resources with sufficient product knowledge to assist in the overall eVestment sales and client retention processes.


What we need: We are looking for proof of your passion for the investment industry. You will have worked in a Sales or Specialist role prospecting or presenting to clients, and have the technical acumen to demonstrate software. You have experience growing business and revenue opportunities rapidly. You have a creative mind and experience demonstrating product value to clients and prospects. You’re able to manage a detailed sales and operations function and can sit at the table as one of the regional leaders with a strong strategic mind. Understanding how to identify and structure "win-win” partnerships with key influencers in the firm's marketplace is a necessity. You’re able and willing to learn technical and detailed aspects of product solution. You’re also a rational thinker with a healthy dose of skepticism.


Your will have stellar communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels; you’re eloquent and charismatic in front of prospective clients, existing clients, employees and strategic partners.  For this position, innovation is key.  We will expect that you have a highly focused work ethic that allows you to accomplish numerous initiatives simultaneously and work flexibly when required to do so.  We seek candidates who and are deadline-driven and self-motivated in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with uncompromising integrity and positive attitude.


Other Requirements:

  • Languages - Business proficiency (verbal and written) in English and Japanese are required; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office, including excellent PowerPoint skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (domestic and international) to facilitate meetings with clients; up to 30%.

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ direct Sales experience
  • Relevant experience working with subscription-based technology, SaaS, or at an asset management or investment consulting company.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related area such as Finance, Business, or Mathematics
  • A CFA qualification or a finance-related postgraduate degree would be beneficial.
