This role will focus on supporting a growing client base in the Asia Pacific region with specific responsibility for our Japanese clients.  We are looking for a high energy professional who thrives in a team-oriented work environment and brings a passion for superior client service to the team.   eVestment's clients include leading asset consultants, investment managers, and pension funds.   


As the Client Service Analyst within our Client Service team, you will be the face and voice of eVestment to our clients.   In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting and executing strategic goals for Client Service.
  • Providing client support via onsite meetings, phone, and email for eVestment’s proprietary web-based investment manager database and analytic Software-as-a-Service applications and related products.
  • Working through and bringing cases to completion utilizing Sales Force Service Cloud.
  • Building and strengthening our relationships with clients to ensure our service offerings align with their needs.
  • Managing client cancellation requests by employing tactics to save relationships or gather intelligence on terminations to better refine products and tactics.
  • Managing client renewals and price increases.
  • Reviewing and analyze institutional investment manager information submitted to and distributed through the company's website.
  • Assisting with oversight of eVestment’s proprietary investment manager database to ensure continued improvements in terms of manager data population, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Working with the Sales team to identify and nurture leads.


What we need: Success in this role will depend on your superior written and verbal communications skills, detailed analytical skills are also vital as client interaction is high and data is massive, as well as exceptional attention to detail.  You must enjoy client interaction and exhibit strong customer service skills.  We’ll expect that you have a highly focused work ethic that allows you to accomplish numerous initiatives simultaneously and work flexible when required to do so. You’re must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational skills, as monitoring and prioritizing your own work in progress is required. We seek candidates who and are deadline-driven and self-motivated in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with uncompromising integrity and positive attitude. You’re a collaborative team player who believes in relentless customer satisfaction while expecting to be shown respect for the valuable work you do.


Other Requirements:

  • Business proficiency (verbal and written) in English and Japanese are required
  • Highly proficient with MS Office and use of the Internet.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to facilitate meetings with clients; up to 30%.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant experience of working within the Financial Services sector.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related area such as Finance, Business, or Mathematics.
  • Exposure to or experience of working in the institutional investment management industry with consulting / financial advisory firm, investment manager or banking institution is a strong plus.
